Photographer’s Kids……I really need to get someone else to take their pictures! I took them out for a shoot because they’re turning 5 and 3 soon and I need to make some invites. Well, I either get crazy faces,a big “cheeeeeeeeese”, or hateful looks. I did get a couple that I love, but, for the most part it wasn’t so fun.





Inspirational Moms Contest!

I am excited to announce the Inspirational Moms Contest.

To enter, nominate up to three inspirational mothers that you know. They will have a chance to win a free session. Just send me snapshots of the mother with her children/grandchildren and a brief paragraph stating why you think she deserves to win! Remember, it can be anyone who is a mother.


I will be accepting nominations until Friday, March 6th at 5 p.m. At that time, I will pick the top 10 and post them on my blog. Voting will be open to anyone until March 16th at 3pm. I will then announce the winner. The winner’s session must be used by April 20th to ensure that prints can be in hand by Mother’s Day.

My Gramma

My gramma has been visiting from Michigan and is getting ready to head back. She was diagnosed with dementia last year so it was good for everyone to get to spend this time with her. She’s a very funny lady and has a lot of spunk. Here she is trying to get my youngest to show some affection for a picture…..


Here she is laughing because I took a picture of a man at the park that she was eyeing!

I love snow!!!

I have been really ready for it to warm up lately. But, I have to admit, I’m really loving all of this snow! It’s so beautiful and the boys love to play in it. Here are some pics I’ve taken lately. We went up to Cades Cove and probably should have turned around because I couldn’t see where I was on the roads….but, it was fine once we got up there.
